From Vogue being one of the most popular magazines to this date, I believed that using Vogue has an example will benefit me creating my magazine. With the use of a black and white picture, shows the binary opposite from the model to the background, bringing out the model more so that it stands out in the magazine, giving the audience a clearer view on the model. In both magazine covers, the model stares straight on, allowing the feel that the model is looking at the consumer and therefore bringing the consumer in, making the consumer want to purchase the magazine. I've used Elle as an example of what I would like my magazine to look like because they are also a fashion magazine.
